tested a g-tech pro
Like the title says, last weekend I tested a G-tech pro, on my 1.4 8v turbo. Not wanting to dissapoint myself I upped the boost a bit from 11 psi to 16 . Got a 14.42 @ 105.1 mph on street tyres (lots of wheel spin in first and second).
In a couple of weeks I'm going to a strip, what times do you guys think I could make on slicks?

my experiences with g-techs and all my friends and i'm sure plenty of people on here are that they suck nutz!, would never buy one, would never go by that quarter mile run... they are off by a range of 1 second give/take. my friend ran a 16.1 on the gtech pro and then at the track could only do a 16.7 - 17.0. if you do go by the gtech.. don't be shocked when your at a real track.

Re:tested a g-tech pro
with the old style g-tech pro aligning it is CRUCIAL and an art form to say the least.
I had one for a while that i played with in my Z32 and it was almost dead on accurate the 2 times i ran it at the track. you have to get it lined up perfect and be on a perfectly flat road or else your readings will be wrong.
The way they're designed they will be accurate and yet they have a bad rap still because of dumb ---- retards who dont know how to align it properly.
