Those people that wanted to keep her alive and claimed to be religious were full of ----. They should take a step back to reality and read the bible some more. I have been to church more times than you can shake a stick at, I don't go that much anymore, but my parents have been going every sunday for like a million years and they couldn't believe anybody that calls themself a christian would want to keep her alive. I mean what are they crying about anyways? Would you rather have somebody you love go to heaven? Or would you rather keep them alive and brain dead in a hospital for 60 years? Come on people...

I'm not saying that the decision was right or wrong. People's views are people's views, I was just saying it's sad cause it is. 
It's a delicate topic, I don't know what I would if a family member of mine was like that. There will always be that part of you that has hope, it there that's why we play the lotto. I mean in the beginning, they might have hoped for it to be just a couple weeks, and then a couple months pass by, and then next thing you know it's years. Once you have been waiting that long, waiting some more doesn't seem so bad which is why I believe the family kept fighting for her life. They waited 15 years, is waiting another year, 2, 3, 5 gonna be any different, might as well right.
The arguement for and against the act are both valid, but it's just boils down to what each person thinks is right. Personally agree with both sides, but my true opinion on it wouldn't be known unless I was placed in a situation such as that.
Oh and to you guys that say 'kill me if I end up like that cause I don't wanna be a veggie, of course you guys wouldn't wanna live as vegatables, cause you would rather be fruits! haha

i agree that its sad that the family has to let go and everything, but idk it think its kinda selfish to try to keep the person alive on the impossibly remote chance shed ever improve at all, much less lead a meaningful life, esp considering nothings changed in the past 15 years. Religious or not religious, if i was trapped inside a body for 15 years and couldnt do anything at all, and then died, its not about going to a better place, its about relief from endless hell that you cant do anything about.

Yor beloved president says he strongly stands behind the sanctaty of marrriage,then he should but the ---- out and let married people do what they need to do.He didnt commit murder.Not you or I know how or what that womans life was as a vegtable.We dont know how bad if any she was suffering.Its ------- selfish of the family to keep her alive as a ------- vegetable just to say that she's still alive.That women died 15 years ago IMO.
