11 seconds with bolts-on, no internal work. How is that stupid? The majority of all the turbo'd cars here can't even do that. I'm smell jelousy. I've got the buildup on that car and it's pretty interesting. Whats stupid is when you pump all your money into forged internals hydrid turbo blah blah blah... all for just scratching on 12's. Who here has hit 11's? Beau with his Drag Rex and 99CTR I think is his name? How did they drop 3x's the money? For the price of the ITB's and a header and a stock k20 ITR engine to hit 11's. I'd signup to be on Team asspackmen in an instant. Apparently they know what their doing.

oh ohh, you forgot me 11.79 @ 121 on an internally stock GSR for much much less $$$ than a K20 on ITB's and a $1k K-pro.

Although, I do think Johnny is a bit biased towards your standard import
The K series is hands down the best Hmotor out there. Thats some serious speed for an otherwise 'stock' motor. Someday, the prices will drop to HMT levels, and youll be finding K20's with HX35's bolted to them.

It's a little bit more than just that... A K swap is not exactly cheap, in fact just that swap alone is more than I have ever had in my car and in any one of my projects. Lets just add it up real quick (btw that motor is far from stock)

K20a (R) Motor/Trans/Ecu/etc 5500-6000
Toda Bored 86mm / Stroked 2500+
TWM Throttle bodies + Rail 2200+
Kpro Hondata 1000+
Toda Cams 1000
Custom Header 500+

Not to mention all the other tons of ---- that guy has done, I bet that car is easily over 20 grand. To give you a comparison of what a real stock K20 with a couple bolt ons does, is more like low 13's. At the last BOTI event there were 2 civic's with Kswaps and a couple bolt ons running low 13's. I met Marouj (pacman) at a las vegas event last year and got to watch his car, it definatly is impressive but comparing our (hmt's) cars that we maybe have what? 5-8000 bucks in total to a car like that is just unheard of. Not to mention the amount of hours put into that thing to make it run that good. He did run a 11.8 I think before he bored/stroked the engine. On a side note, I bet beau doesnt even have 10 grand in his car and he's ran several 10 second passes.

if you can get a good deal one the complete swap WITH the engine harness that'll drop the price down a lot. what kinda k20 is it? is it an a2 a3 or the k20a from the itr in japan. ---- if i could find a a2 for 2k complete with harness i would do the swap. with i/h/e and k pro thats like garanteed 200+ whp
