quick question is their such an animal as a tdo4h 15g turbo. if so what make and model vehicle did it come on?

TD04H is the smaller compressor housing'd turbo that came with the Greddy 92-95 kit supposed to be efficient to 12-15psi max. it is called the 15g I beleive the 3000GT VR4 came with two of these...probably different spec than the Greddy kit though...maybe not

That turbo comes with the 92-95 civic greddy turbo kit doesn't it? The greddy site lists it as a TD40H 15G, but I am guessing that's a mis print because I see it on a lot of other sites listed as the TD04H 15g.

the volvo 850 and 740/940's came with the 15G (some came with garretts).

it's not a bad turbo for a B18B

1st gen dsm automatic. TD04. nice small and quick spooling, but dont use it on anything bigger than a 1.8 they lose everything in the top end. they are very small but spool almost instantly

dsm autos are 13G, not 15G. they're easy to come by and pretty cheap, but like you said, they run out in the top end..

I have a TD04H; I love it, but I also have a d16z6, I would get one if you had this engine. They are great for city driving. The sad thing is when I drive other people's cars, I make my own turbo noises
