last year they took out about 8,000 in taxes, I got back $237. , This year I made about 7,000 more than last year, so I'll probably have to pay
hate tax season.....

yea this will only be my 2nd tax return.. what kinda c ar stuff can you write off? i know there was something i bought a while ago, that was a write off, but i can't remember

last year made about 5K, got $110 back, this year I made $9000.. they take out taxes up the ***- i worked 8 hours on thanksgiving, and made $80 in holiday pay.. they took out $90 that week in taxes

i didnt do taxs last year and i just started my job in october. last year i asnt 18 and hardly made any money that was known by the goverment,so i asnt required to do my taxs. i have no idea what to expect or even how to write things off and what i can rite off

Not sure if you can do it for school, but if you say it was for work, then you can, all of it, as long as you have a receipt. I did with mine.

i made about 11k last year paid almost 3k in taxes. hopefully i will get a decent check it is my first time filling. i would try and use my laptop as a deductable but i only paid $50 for it so i dont think it would help much

You should be able to claim your laptop, but you will have to use the long form to make those kinds of deductions. It's more of a pain than it is worth.
