A few years ago I remember hearing something about a street called Jap Rd. here in Texas was going to be renamed, because it was a racial slur towards Tojos. I don't think anyone but some group called "JACL" really cared, but it's funny that the community said...

The article says all this came about because of a talk show personality made it into a big deal, its funny that they keep referring to it as a "**** Symbol" when in reality that symbol has been around for quite some time and has a variety of symbolic meanings. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swastika
