Thanks for the advice guys. I stopped at one shop today and he just looked at it real quick-- he said instead of getting an estimate just to take what the guy offers and later he could bill them if it wasn't enough. He said it was probably around $1200 or so in damage. Its really just the driver side fender and some paint off the door. And yes I'll be getting stock replacements from a junkyard, I only had aftermakret ones because they were on the car when I got it, and I never really liked them anyway. They are z3 ones with removable inserts, and someone already stole the passenger side insert to ---- with me, so it looks pretty retarded anyway I have a shop at home I go to for most things and if they cut me a $1200 check I'm pretty sure I can make out with at least an extra $500 if I go to them

same ---- happened to me, i took the insurance company's check for 850 and bought just about my whole turbo kit, i thought they were just gonna total it.
the insurance guy was cool, he was tellin me he use to have a civic like an 84 or somethin and he swapped out the prelude motor for it wayy back in the day before civics were even doin engine swaps. he put on the estimate that i needed all new molding and front corners and a couple extra other things, worked out good for me i'd say

i'd see what the insurance company says and then fix it yourself like you said you plan on doing.

like everyone else said, meet up ur appraiser at the most expensive body shop in ur area and as for an est. then keep the check.

BTW i think that girl who hits u did it on purpose, she aim right at the z3 vents and floor it just ot **** u off.
