I eye ball it and make it fit. then again the only whitey bends I did so far are for my dump tube from the wastegate. I'll have some pics this week.

get a chop saw and make either 11.25 cuts (1/32 bend), or a 22.5 (1/16) bend. those are simple plumbers bends, or millworkers use them on baseboards inside your house for trim. obviously the 11.25 bend will look the nicest but require the most welds.

Like I said, the angle is easy. 45 divided by the number of pieces in the section for a 90 degree bend.

why do you need a formula?
360 is one full bend
180 is 1/2
90 is 1/4
45 is 1/8... and so on

very simple math. no need for a formula or some sticky on it. didnt you grow up to the school house rock?
nice effort though.

You're a retard. :1 I've posted the reason for it. Why don't you start by looking at my thread and seeing the formulas used. Angle and Length.

eyeball engineering ftw. just keep your cuts the same length and you should be good. trust me madmaxi, i work with angles everyday and i know wtf im talking about. im a licensed pipefitter and plumber and know how to use a fucken chopsaw. nobody bust's out formulas for fabricating pipe angles on a job. and thats residential or commercial. ive worked on commercial gas, medical gas, residential plumbing and have never seen anyone waste their time. try giving your asslicking formula to some who actually cares. eyeball engineering ******

I'm not licensed, but I put my pipe fitting duties to work on your mom every week. WHO"S YOUR DADDY BIATCH!

This is not some job that you don't give a ---- about. This is about your own vehicle and if you feel satisfied with eyeballing fine, but don't into my thread and spew your bullshit on how you're licensed in who gives a ----.

Just take the formula as it is. Most people that say "oh just eyeball the ----", have either some ego issues or simply don't appreciate applied science or mathematics, because it's too much for them to work out.

Plenty of people actually appreciate this.

Also, the formula thread is stickied in the FI forum for quick reference.
