Default taking a trip to the good o' Home Depo - help

is it ok to put a oil restrictor at the turbo instead of behind the block? if does home depo carry angled fittings? (7/16) i cant fit the restrctor stright on the oil feed becuase the mani is in the way

ps: sorry mods &.... **** if this is the wrong forum

Good luck at home depot, they suck for crap like that, you need an industrial supply or plumbing store. It should be OK at the turbo, It doesn't really matter.

dont roll your eyes at me because YOU post everything in GD noob.

ps - how many of you guys really shop at home depot for your stuff? i've never once been there for anything non household, just curious.

i had added a restrictor valve at the turbo before. worked fine. current turbo doesnt smoke so i removed it. i got everything at lowes hardware. im sure home depot has everything but it might take time finding it or someone to help.
ask for a brass needle valve.

In my experience Lowes has a much larger selection of brass fittings... Home Depot sucks for that kind of stuff, around here at least...

i already have a restrictor from steve, i just need an angled fitting that allow me to use the restrictor without hitting the mani...

haha like all of SoCal's installs It's funny cause it's true. I think it was steve's install where we went to home depot to buy a fitting and some couplers. Like every install we have someone (renr :P) is making a trip to home depot for something.

teh best place for brass fitting is Orchard Supply(OSH) thats where i got all my fittings for my MBC

I bought my couplers at holmes depot, and the piping for the next manifold I'm going to make.
