Tailights install altezzas?

Tailights install altezzas?
Ok I have a 95 civic coupe and am installing altezzas,the ones with the little ovals in them instead of the circles. I know it should be easy but maybe I am just making it harder than it is. The red ovals should be on all the time right and get brighter when braking? The white part is for the turn signal? So when I install the trunk lid lights the white part stays on and the red dot comes on for reverse lights. What am I doing wrong or how should they go? I installed a whole turbo setup and am ashamed of having trouble with something so easy but I am confused.

Ok... Now follow these instructions to the tee and you should have yourself some working taillights! K ready... First take the Altezzas out of your car set them on the ground. Get your OEM lights or buy a set of all red then put those in. Proceed to put your altezzas under your wheels. Put your car in drive and drive over them. After you have done this burn the little peices ok!!!

Yeah, got them for $25 shipped and they sure beat the stock ones with glued on gto covers that I bought it with.

You should get those tailights that look like the 2000 si tails except the red is on the bottom and the clear part is on the top. I have a 95 and I hate that gay orange turn signal crap.
