you don't wanna do that if you want it to some out like that pic. For the sake of easiness, just paint it on the outside. Tape off half and spray half. You could use that satin paint or you could use candy red paint that is made to paint RC car bodies. Or you could go look for some transparant paint.

Oh and you might wanna check out eBay for some clear taillights.

i wanted to get lights like this for so long and now that i see them i kinda want to make some. i already painted my oems with staind glass red and there nice but 2 tone is clean lookin

Same here I took my OEMs , masked the Reverse light, and spray them with 2 coats of Stain Glass Paint and 3 coats of Clear Coat. Nice clean look with no Orange turn signals.
