I had better luck running no anti-virus than using Norton.....AVG FTW.

restart in safe mode, and try to get another virus scan prog to run

i dont even use ANY virus scanning software. when my pc starts to act funny i usually just do a disk defrage and everything cleans right up. but i do back up my hdd on a external with my information such as school work, pirated movies , pirated music , my own personal cds, pictures, and of course ****, who in the right mind can forget ****. but the ---- dont work so i dont use it. used to use it all the time. now i dont even recommend using any to begin with lol.

NOD32 is a very good program as well. Better than zone alarm, duno about AVG.

Agreed.

Norton sucks, but I'd say 75% of all computers that I fix because of Virus Issues use McAffee

i have a question for anybody that can help me.....................so i re-formatted everything, but now it willl not let me connect to the internet............i have comcast cable and its connected to the laptop and i know it works b/c im on my work comp right next to it...so wtf is going on?

i go under Network Connection and see the connection and it said connected but it will not do nothing.....
this ---- is so frustrating......




edit: never mind i ding have all my driver updated.......
