Just setting the record straight. I ------- blew myself up the other night trying to light the pilot light on the heater because it starting to get down into the 60's here in Southern Arizona. I was drunk and trying to light the main burner with a light and totally missed the pilot. The gas built up and ignited while I was kneeling a 1 1/2 feet away. I have some singed eye lashes, singed eyebrows, and a slight flash burn. No big deal, but since Gay Dee felt it necessary to put me "on blast" I thought I'd explain.

Since when is 60º cold enough for use of a heater? 60 is nice. It's like 25 here.

When you have summers in the 120's and it doesn't break below a 100 untill late October, anything below 80 is chilly. And the 60's is flat out cold here. And the rains are going to start soon.

Psshh. It stays 62 in my house at all times. Unless we run out of diesel, then it might get down to 15+ outside temp.

right now it is 56 in my house and im wearing just boxers and a shirt. i dont even wear a sweatshirt untill it gets to like 45, jacket untill its 10 plus wind. i have yet to wear a jacket yet this year, just a sweatshirt

I love cold weather, hate the hot. I can live outside for half a year in 40F* in a shirt and short and not ever get sick or get a cold. It's like low 40's with wind and rain in washington right now. Might even snow tonight/tomorrow. Hope it does so that I can ---- around in the BMW on snow.
