I really don't think that's ignorant. It's the truth of many people in this world that can't really say how they feel.
It's not like I walk around disrespecting people because I don't think I'll like them. Everybody gets a chance with me, but the one re-occuring theme in my life is that blacks don't have anything in common with me, and I don't have it with them. We'll all get along better once we admit that we are "GENERALLY" different.

ok i get your point but are you views towards all black people or just the ones you met in your life? Im not sure what you mean. If i was trying to be your friend and say "hey stealth how bout you help me install my turbo next week?" your going to turn me down and not associate with me because im black? Of course i know were not the same stealth but you dont even know me. You should look by just seeing how im like instead of just thinking because im black you dont think we have much in common.

I see what he means. I'm black and I have a lot of black friends who feel the same about white folks, just can't relate to them sometimes. nothing wrong there. on the other hand I think it all depends how you were raised, who you hung out with and who you grew up around...I've grown up everywhere from down south with country *** yocal black folks and mullet rocking white guys LOL to up here in DC/MD where the population is pretty mixed. I can truely say I have a friends(not just accquaintences) from many races, yeah I might not have as much in common with some of my white or asian friends as some of my black friends, and we might not go out to the same night clubs and chase the same chicks, but we still can hang out. I'm pretty flexible when it comes to ---- like that. I just don't even consider race when I look at people, if we click, then we click, thats what matters to me.

Dragon, we have cars in common. Everybody on this site does. In our personal lives we may not find enough in common to hang out, but that will go with any culture of person. We have cars in common and I would help you install your kit. We just may not decide to hang out more often because of the different things we're into.
Most of the So Cal members are mexican (renr is from el salvador) :P I hang out with all of them. Most of the time its just car related things we're doing, but that's all we need.
And of course I'm not talking about all black people, because I haven't met all black people, I'm talking about the percentage of black people I've met vs. how many of them I thought were people I had stuff in common with/didn't dislike something about.
I know that we're relating this topic to blacks because of the video, but this goes for everyone. Theres lots of white people that I don't like either. But the majority of the time I relate with people like me, as do others. One of the members of my wedding party is an asian guy that means everything to me. That doesn't mean I like all asians or that I'm trying to meet more of them, it's just that he is his own character and we get along well.

I guess this whole conversation started because we just saw a video of a black guy that I don't know from a hole in the ground do something that I don't find surprising compared to my perception of the average young black guy these days. It would be more correct to say he's a "human" punk *** bitch, but because of our many differences, we tend to look at the one thing that makes our cultures, likes/dislikes different. And that's that he's black. So instead of looking at him as some guy I wouldn't associate with, I am reminded of the reasons why I haven't met any black people that I've ever thought were anything like me. He just adds that little .00002% to my already bad vibe from them. That's why I say what I say.
