Re:sub box building program?
what cu.ft. are you aiming for?
what sub.. there's LOTS to figure in..
first.. the sub spec sheet will tell you the optimal size box for the sub. it will also tell you how much air the magnet displaces (gotta count for that too ya know)..

Wow, I hadn't thought of this crap in a long time. I started installing car audio when I was 14, had a full system in my to-be car before I got my permit. ----'s cool, but heavy, loud, and it gets stolen too often.
What are you looking to build for, what sub and all, and I could give you some pointers.

Re:sub box building program?
I need .75 cf per sub including sub displacement, I want to put three 10's under the rear seat of my superduty. I have seen some programs like a cheep version of cad were you can punch in some dimensions and it will come up with a box design and volumes.

Re:sub box building program?
thats not too hard lxhxw account for all the other things....ported boxes on the other hand are a pain in the ***....i would do a ported box the sound is amazing and go to www.caraudio.com go to the forums and look for gnome audio for 10 bucks he'll write up plans for anything. You just tell him the subs, the size you need the box to be and what freq you want it ported to.
