act interested but not desperate. women love it when you know you can go elsewhere if they don't perform. drives them wild. makes them work for the ****.
that's how mine is anyhow. good thing she's bi and has lots of girlfriends. she likes to keep things "interesting" with us.

It worked for me. 
I've never given a girl flowers in my life until recently. I left her a rose on her car with a little note. She couldn't say no after that. :P I dunno, it got me laid. 
Girls love flowers. It's not just the flower, it's the idea that you were thinking about her and you went out of your way and brought her something that you knew was going to make her happy.
Now, if she's just some **** you want to stick your garbage in and dump her on the corner then under no circumstances should you bring her flowers. ---- em' and dump em'.

A dozen= Holy ----, this dude never gets laid and if I give him some, he is going to be sprung like a mother ****** and sitting outside my house and calling every 20 minutes to see what I am doing.
Keep it simple. She will know you have been thinking about her. Plus, if things work out, you will just have to top it next time you get her something. If you start big, you just have to go bigger next time.
By the way, this is the opinion of a girl.
