I was welding a simple bracket for s-series starter onto a old lawnmower since the rope for the recoil broke and was going to make it a electric starting lawn mower and there was some leftover gas on the frame and and I just filled the tank up so here's a lawn mower on fire with a full tank of gas. Since my wife trust my ghetto style fabrications she has me keep two extinguishers in the garage. lol.

Ha, something similar to this happened to me just the other day, but it did not go to that extent. Had a SOHC ZC that was hydrolocked with fuel, I pulled the plugs and unplugged the fuel injectors, but forgot to disable the dizzy. I was holding rags over the spark plug holes to catch the gas while I had somebody turn the engine over. The spark plug wires were laying near the intake manifold and they arc'd against it igniting the fumes which quickly ignited the rags that were soaked in gas. I jumped back for about 2 seconds and then reached in to grab the flaming rags and threw them on the floor, while flames continued to shoot out of the spark plug holes. My partner grabbed a shovel and tried to throw the rags out the side door of the garage, but they fell on the large carpeted door mat Luckily it did not catch fire before we got them off and out the door. The flames from the cylinders stopped pretty quickly and luckily the puddle of gas under the car never joined the party. It was funny after everything turned out ok, but for that brief moment, I was like It turned out to be a quick way to get all the gas out of the cylinders, but I would not recommend it as a regular practice Car runs great
