what is strep throat

its a bacterial infection that hurts like a bitch

swells your tonsils up really bad and makes your throat hurt like a *****, also puts these weird white puss lookin things all over your tonsils too

update - I just had to go back to the ER, I woke up this morning, took a dose of the liquid vicodin stuff, did some salt water gargling, and had a can of chicken soup, then took my first penicillin dose.

About 45 mins later I broke into an extreme sweat and sever abdominal pain. I sat in the waiting room of urgent care for 20 mins and it went away, so I came home.

Man that blows. Glad you're doing better though, that crap ain't good.

I remember after wrecking my car it took them a good while to get me a room, I was at that hospital for a good 4 hours or so...

what the hell kind of bad gas do you get that causes you to break into nasty cold sweats that soak your clothing in 10 mins and put you to the ground in abdominal pain?

I had that same thing when I had strep. Massive fevers, you're sweating but you're cold. One of the worst feelings I've ever felt. Then my chest/stomach started cramping up like no other. Went away in about 3 days.

the only time ive felt like that bad, was when i once took some ibuprofen on an empty stomach.

That's what I did, I think. Warning labels are there for a reason.. I couldn't see after that too, I remember my eyes being sensitive and colors were distorted. I don't know wtf was wrong with me.

When I had strep and crap, it wasn't gas.. it was my muscles tightening up for no particular reason and causing excruciating pain.
