Honestly, I want to believe that because it would make it easier to track (and kill) the thieves, but I didn't tell anyone about this. I posted stuff on here, but nobody knows me or where I live on this board. Sure, it's possible, but it's unlikely. My area getting really bad for this kind of ----, so it's more likely that it was a Saturday night and some punks wanted to steal a car. Imagine their suprise when they changed gears or took it above 3,500.

Dang that sucks dude. I just went threw this myself, so I know exactly how you feel. Hopefully you get lucky like me and get your car back in one piece. For anybody reading ALWAYS disable your car when your going to be away from it for long periods of time, especially at night. Oh and get an alarm that works.

Auto insurance is covering the car + car related items in the vehicle (jacks, tools.. etc), but they won't cover the aftermarket stuff (ie: the couple g's I just put into my turbo system). But I expected that... better than nothing I guess.
My renter's insurance is going to cover the stuff that was sitting in my seats and trunk that were non-car related. I'll have to wait a week and a half before my auto insurance will do anything (to see if the car turns up), but my guess is that the car will be more stripped than a hooker on nickle night.
Whatever... on to something else, and yes, it will be turboed.

damn im sorry to hear, yeah its true washington is one of the biggest hot spots for theft, i was a victim also, im in renton and will keep an eye out also.. plus im looking for turbo parts and go on NWSR, HT, ebay, craigslist at least 10 times a day , i';ll keep those parts in mind if i come across them.. good luck!
