Default Stock civic Exhaust VS 2,5" Exhaust DYNO (GSR swap)

found that dyno test quite interesting... is it THAT big of a difference to just switch the exhaust system? I didn't think so before!

check this out!

interesting.... (the engine is a GSR)

dude that`s like a 3 year old dyno. LOL

they drop a gsr engine into a civic with the 1.7 pipings
plus they did the header too.

A stock civic has 1.7" piping? Damn that's pretty shitty. Of course there will be great gains with I/H/E. However, if you look at the final WHP, it's like 154.X, and I believe stock GS-R's dyno only slightly less than that so it's almost like recovering WHP that was being restricted. I clicked the link thinking 20HP gains from a stock GS-R's dyno.

you are right guys, but think of people that would run a homemade turbo with stock exhaust... i think that Justin was trying to say you could unleash all the potential by having a bigger exhaust system... and it might be 3 years old; some people might not have seen it like me
