yea buk i got the same thing i made 12 grand and got a letter yesterday saying i was only getting back 356, i am going to call the people and see why im not getting the full 600...its bullshit...

They are also just going to laugh about giving you money they didn't have to give, and you complaining. You won't see the other money so don't waste your time, IMO.

My tax liability was only about 2k, but I still hope I get the whole 600

That would suck, but, the calculator says it's just an estimate. It doesn't factor in all the credits and crap on a personal level, it's just a basic guess that will tell the MAX amount you could possibly get, like it says on the site.
