That illustration is wrong. The Connely was not right in front of JFK. Is was slightly to JFK's left.

The Kennedy's had too many ties to the CIA and Mafia.. The Mob felt betrayed, they had basically helped steal the 1960 election for him. JFK costed the mob millions of dollars in lost illegal revenue because he didn't improve air support. My views- The CIA and military worked together to kill JFK.

Oswald secretly worked for the CIA and was hired to kill JFK. The CIA then hired Jack Ruby to kill Oswald so they could have the killee and the killer dead. Now all people know is "Oswald killed JFK and we dont know why or how and we will probably never know" <-- and that was the goal of our government from the get go.
