Im testing about 7 different products from SSautochrome right now. Turbos/Gates/Valves etc..

He asked me about a new designed manifold to replace the very common one that breaks.

Keep in mind even though all of these products were giving to me for free, I won't judge that, If they are ----.. I will rate them as ----.

1- T3/T4 "T70 Turbo"
2- T3/T4 57trim .50/63 (internal gated)
3- T3/T4 57trim .50/63
4- Tial look alike 50mm BOV
5- 2 TurboXS's cloned RFL's
6- 45mm Cloned HKS Gate / 40mm HKS Cloned Gate
7- Tial look alike 35mm Gate

i don't think the turbos are that bad. they blow seals fast tho. like 4 of my friends are runnin one. my brother included in that. hes had his for 20k miles no probs

Oh and before everyone here gets on the "SSAutochrome turbos break in half" bandwagon like on honda-tech, I actually was informed that it wasnt even one of their turbos at all.

SSautochrome Owns XSturbo USA, all turbos are built here.

Supposivly there is a China Company that cloned the Turbo XS turbo and started selling them on Ebay as well, SSautochrome wasnt selling them either.

These turbos are made here in the US, and from what he has told me they have very little problems at all with these turbos. The turbos before this were the ones with the "Turbo XYZ" or whatever on the compressor housing. We used one on a turbo z6 almost 2 years ago and its still running just fine.

I also have one of these turbos that I will be using on a customers car.







Here are The chinese versions of the XS Turbo, the ones that were split in half and were claimed to have been sold by SSauto on HT.

I've been lurking Ebay for several years now and have always watched what he has sold, and I have never seen him sell one of those turbos, I thought for sure they were all the same but I guess not.

Some people might be in shock that I am defending the guy, and giving his products a chance. We all know his manifolds arnt the greatest, but he is planing on retiring that pos with something better. He was even talking if we could get 5 hmt guys here to prototype a new manifold. I'm always willing to give people a chance, and try out their products. I'll be checking all these products out and seeing how they perform. I've already ripped apart all the turbos, gates, and valves and everything looks great. I just hope everything turns out well. For the price he sells this stuff, its definatly worth a test.

ha thats funny. that top turbo is the same exact one i have on my d15. the 50 trim. and its awesome
