Are you sure it wasn't some Ssautocopy? There's some company that's been copying SSAuTO stuff and selling it on ebay.

They made the infamous turbo that fell in half and stuff.

I know several people running Ssautoshit setups with no problems. I have a friend on superhonda who has been boosting his z6 with an SSAUTO manifold and turbo for almost 2 years now.....making 217 whp on his z6. I'd say that's not bad at all.

I just wish they would sell log manifolds.The turbos are a odd one as how hard is it to rebuild a turbo?China is capable of producing any thing you want from the highest precision machinery to the shittiest ---- imaginable like the manifolds.The labour is so cheap that you could contract them to manufacture and bring the price down considerably.

ive had my ssauto boosted for about 10 miles so far the only thing wrong with it is smoking coming off it so far.. but it boosts fine.at like 3000 rpm i start to go into boost.

ssautochorme was doing to be my first choice for my turbo setup but did research and bought a hmt instead.i wouldve been pissed if i bought ss and it fucked up on me

ok the problem is simple with the SS autoCRAP wastegate..

the VAC/Boost Nipple is to long on the thread side. it protrudes into the Wastegate and cuases damage.

if the stim don't break the diaphram will.
i know some one that had the same problem he bought another shaved the nipple down and has been working for more then a year...

also NOTE: you get what you pay for.. quailty isn't considered in SS autocrome.

Not to mention hundreds more. I cant believe people who read this board try to back this company. Great once in awhile some of there stuff works doesnt mean a damn thing. There junk if your cheap get a good used turbo and a log manifold buy a hmt sponser
