I posted this awhile ago and actually sent a letter to the host of the show and gave him a piece of my mind. Never heard anything back...big surprise. :P The show is called Sports Car Revolution. I wanna gouge my eyes out with rusty spoons whenever that "Drifting Emergency" section comes on. Those ******* are nuttier then a squirrel turd.

SCR is a decent show, but the "Drifting Emergency" segment totally sucks ***...as evidenced by them purchasing anything from SSAutoCrap.

that scary man
are ther e wgs any good
are ther e wgs any good
it's a toss up. Some say it's good for the money, others dont. They seem to rip and blow up engines (as in hotrex's case) but other people have had good luck with them.
Personally I would buy from someone else.

SoapBox ON...
TunerToys began selling parts for turbocharging because of this website and you guys. There is something to be sadi for the guys that want to do it themselves, learn a lot, but not spend a lot.
There is always a trade off between expense, reliability, and difficulty, when completing a DIY turbo project. Guys like us are always trying to get the most bang for the buck and want it to be reliable. It's a constant battle to make something perform, without investing a fortune, and doing it yourself.
There comes a point when reliability becomes so poor, that price can not be the deciding factor when buying the components for your turbo project. You have to choose reliability over a cheap price. Time and time again, SSAutoChrome has proven to be unreliable, yet the rock bottom prices continue to lure people into their trap.
We would love to be able to offer parts with as low of a price point as the SSAutoChrome products, but nobody offers that price level, with any proven reliability. So we chose Tial Wastegates.
The moral to all of this is that you are risking the blowing of your engine, to save a few bucks, on a component from a manufacturer with a horrible record for reliability. It is not worth it. The money you will spend rebuilding the engine, will more than pay for the difference between the SSAutoCrap, and the Tial (or other quality wastegate) you should have bought.
