I got the msd rpm switch. I didn't install it but i do know there a wire from the battery terminal and theres something that's suppose to be mounted to the firewall. Mines used to kick in a 5k rpms but now it kicks in at 4500 rpm b/c of my vafc. I recommend if you could get the ecu to your car then get one. I already order mines and plan on sellin my rpm switch.

make sure the rpm switch is set up good (good rpm trigger and good relay and grounds etc) and that the switch point is set right, ive used them and had good results but they can be a royal pain to set up right... BTW the summit one is better than the msd one, no pills.
