There a nice fast car. If I was going to buy a cheap family car that would be it. But I would rather have a WRX Or EVO. But for the money yeah SRT-4 all the way. You can get 500 hp out of the stock engine. Mopar sells a new turbo that will make you run low 13's. They sell alot of other cool ---- like that. Some of its cheap.

if i were buying a new car (in my price range) i would have to choose between the SRT-4 and a WRX. I think i would probably take the WRX because of all the snow we get in the winter, but if it wernt for that, it would be a tough decision.

i will never buy a neon. It my be faster than my honda now but its still a neon. I had to drive one for a rent a car and i hated it. Yes is fast for cheap thats cool more power to dodge. I choose the wrx over th srt4.

All WRX's and Evo's would be a whole lot better with just an upgraded turbo, intercooler, and injectors IMO... Then they would make some really cool FAMILY cars. The stock turbos just suck and needs improvement.

the thing that sucks with the srt 4 is that it has the exhaust housing cast into the exhaust manifold.... so upgrading turbos means a new or custom mani. A Lancer Evo would be a better car but it is also $10000+ more than the srt, stock WRXs are 25k but ive seen guys sink $10000 into the engine/tranny/turbo and only run 13.6s with them... and that sucks for the amount of cash invested.
