Ok.... well lets see.. im trying to do a swap i got a 2001 Neon R/t and i bought a srt4 the whole car it has been total bad so im gonna take the engine out of it and stuff but i got everything.... but my question was since the srt4 is a 04 and the neon is a 01 there still odb2.5... what kind of modifications and rewirind doi need to do to sawp the enigne and tranny do i need to buy mounts and does the ecu from the srt4 fit in the r/t? ---- next time ill stick with hondas!! haha.. I NEED HELP!! thanks

get the wiring diagrams for ecu's /engines and go from there. Hack/weld the mounts if you have to. Stop posting technical in general forums.

call the local dodge dealer and ask if the years are the same obd, if not then get ems to work with the 01 .

get a honda, dodge is too stupid to make ---- interchangeable, they rather spend more time making new cheap parts that break

take the harness ecu engine and tranny from the srt4 and throw it in your car. I believe the mounts were the same.

I would of researched this before buying a totalled car, but thats just me. I also would of gone to some neon web sites, but I might be way off on that one too.

Take the SRT4 engine, throw it in a Honda EG sedan, now there's an idea.
