Do you honestly think that half of these people would be able to even install rpm's? let alone, run the program in terminal to find out you dont have the right library files or theres some other fucked up reason your programs not working. Its fun to mess around with to get everything working, but in no way shape or form can it hold a candle to windows functionaly, ease of use, or random things like 3d processing. Opengl bites ****. the gimp bites ****. if you just used linux to surf the internet it works great, but as soon as you need to do something most normal computer users would have to take their computer somewhere to have whatever done to it. Like installing graphics drivers. Do you think someones going to copy the etc/x11/xorg.config manualy to use the right drivers go into terminal *whatever*init 3 to exit X then cp the new file over the old one? ------- doubt it.
