Default Sprint is a crafty company

I was looking at my bill the other day and looked at their reasoning for "surcharges".

This is the opening sentance of the definition:

"Sprint Surcharges are rates we choose to collect from you to help defray costs imposed on us." :1

All along I thought that is what I was paying for when I paid for the voice plan and other services.

Yeah I have US cellular and have no clue what the hell most of that ---- on my bill means. They have made 'billing mistakes' before, but I think they try to throw that in every once in a while to get your money, and if anyone questions it "oh sorry its a mistake" is their answer. Seems like all cell companies are like that.

Still not as bad as ------- insurance companies. Bastards. :P

seriously...for a while there, every single sprint bill i got was wrong. I called and complained and eventually it stopped, one time they even credited too much and i got like a month for free. You just have to pay attention so they dont get you.

My girlfriend didn't get a bill from T-Mobile for 6 months. The bill date was like mm/dd/1958 instead of 2008. They finally caught it and billed her for 6 months at one time. She said "well, I paid it" to the lady on the phone and they dropped those 6 months.

Atlee has threatened the lifes of every cell provider in WNC, except for Verizon, because of this. It's a shame you weren't around for that, I distinctly remember being in his car at one point ~4 years ago when he was asking a Sprint rep *exactly* where he was located, "because we need to talk face to face, right now." I think it was rawr who worked for an answering service for Sprint?? whose job it was, when people called in about their bills being incorrect, to try and sell them add-ons.

Verizon, locally anyway, doesn't BS around.

Yeah after I signed another agreement I had all kinds of discounts that I negotiated for and they didn't get a single one correct. Finally 4 months later they still don't have it right, but they are making errors in my favor so I can't complain.

You just merged with Nextel? You mean like 3 years ago when I got my Nextel.. right? Sprint and Nextel have been hand in hand for a while now.

Call up and pretend you are your brother, I am the executor of Jay's estate and he needs service terminated. If they try to add on fees and services state that Jay died broke, the funeral was hideously expensive, are you trying to add to our burden of hardships at a time like this by gouging for money on a phone that is no longer used?
