Since I had my MSD 6AlL on the firewall, I mounted the ZEX NMU on the frame rail below the battery.........

Except for the fuel reference lines (disconnected) to the ZEX NMU would you know I was running spray?

Old schooler buddy still couldn't find the kit until he stepped to the side........and he was the one who taught me where to hide it......out in the open!

BTW 5g HB gutted behind the front seats, bottle was behind drivers seat, valve toward center of car so driver or passenger (son) could open it......greasy hoody laying over it and no one ever knew.

Old school meets new school.........

Ive always been a fan of the old gym bag with a hole cut thru the bottom to hide the bottle, and then some of the nastyest socks you can find to stuff inside. Guess its kinda played out now though.

yeah thats a good idea, guess if i was to hit the box with a coat of flat black it could be put just about anywhere and nobody would see it too well. i heard of some mustand guys putting it in the fender well. seen some put it behind the glove box and runnign the hose through the frame rail. all great ideas. guess i'll have to get creative

he was my routine.......show up, run car thru tech........make a 15.3 second NA pass on streets without unloading the car.

A few would come by to look, surprised it was a SOHC while I was unloading and bolting on the 20" slicks. Make a NA pass on the slicks, 14.85-14.88 and on the return road I'd hit the bottle in second gear for 2-3 seconds, purging per see.

Now quite a few people are around asking if I have an Acura LS swap (hood is open) or if I'm running a turbo (Stillen header)...a few see the car is gutted, never ask about a bottle. Someone would comment "his buddy has a GSR swapped CRX that runs 14.7's"......I'd shoot back "Is that like putting a POS Ford motor in a Chebbie?"

Third run, badass second gear burnout.....I could here the people in the stands laughing thinking I didn't have a clue.....

Stage, bring revs to 7000+ rpm (needed a two step!) and when last yellow came on, side step the clutch. ZEX kicks in right away, slicks are hazing and clutch is slipping until about 6500 rpms when both hook, grab second.......poor Mustang just got treed and I'm walking him.

Go back to the pits.......open hood.....a crowd around the car......all just going WTF!

I had more fun like that.....it also helps that I'm not a young ricer punk.....I'm now 40....which fucked with them even more. All the "buddys" that wanted to run me before.......just walked away.

That is more fun than ANYTHING.

Wait till they see the D15B8 8v running next year.......OEM bottom end

Ricewater and Tristate............

BTW, would you enjoy a "Sport Compact Day" at Tristate rather than Edgewater??

I'm sorry something I help start at Ricewater has gone to ----.....---- Dick Weinle I'm gonna take control and have a day at Tristate. I only had a hnad in the first event (I picked the weekend) and it has went downhill from there.

Craig @ Cincy Speed just had an event (Powerfest) at Tristate this past weekend in Vinny5oh's memory........EVERYONE had a blast.....even the imports.
