I havent been out with the quads since my son broke his arm. We were heading out 2 weeks ago but he started throwing up all over my back seat 5 minutes from the house. He had strep and an ear infection but he still wanted to go.
Since Texas is all private land no one checks for ---- as far as stickers, registration, emissions goes. The land owners will yell at you from time to time for going fast in the public areas but other than that you can do what ever the hell you want. My favorit place is called "Red River Ranch". Its on the state border with OK and its 2500 acres of private land. Mostly river bed and some sand dunes but there are also miles and miles or wooded trails with blind turns, quick sand and crazy drop offs...FUN!!.
Too bad it will be too hot for the next few months to go riding
