Sold my civic.. bought something new =) ... sort of big pics... 56k.. =(
I bought my civic back when I was a senior in high school and I did n/a mods to it til I put together a turbo kit, using mainly used greddy parts (due to lack of tools at home).
A lot of help I owe to people on the board, including jeff who I would ask (which I now know are stupid questions) but he still helped me and gave me mainy tips.
After all I thought about how much help I recieved I will be throwing some money in jeff's direction to help keep the site up. I don't post as much as I used to, but I still cannot get enough of checking out the new manifolds and all the setups. I don't think I ever will. Hopefully sending a few bucks to help keep the site will help someone else out in the future who may still be learning.
Here are some pics of the civic I just sold.
Sorry for the large pics.. if they appear
Here is the stack of money I got from the sale =)
Bling Bling!
Here is my civic sitting right at my apt. right before I sold it!
And the moment I dreaded... watching someone else drive it away
My new purchase is the car sitting next to the civic.. I am still breaking it in but it is a lot of fun to drive.
I know it cost quite a bit of money, but I have saved up for a year to put a down payment and my payments are manageable for me.
I drove various cars, but I liked this one the best.

It always hurts to see a car go, even if you get a better one, i just sold my tahoe with a broken tranny to a guy who was going to fix it and flip it, it hurt, and then i just saw it up fore sale on craigslist today... ouch... oh well it was its time to move on down the road...

no matter how much/little you sell the car for, there is no price you can put on the amount of time/fun you had with the car.
if it wasn't for that civic i would never have had any initiative to try a turbo setup and i wouldn't be where i am today
