I think that's not true. The stimulus package rebates represent a tax cut for the year 2008; you're just getting it back now. If you make the exact same as this year, pay the same and have the same deductions, you'll get the same back (or pay the same in) as you did this year. If you happen to do something that changes your rebate for 2008, like have a kid, you'll get the $300 you should get in the rebate, next year.
