Yeah, turbo definitely can't push 30psi efficiently at all........
first he never stated which "evo" turbo. evo 3? evo 8? evo9? i was assuming evo 3 because thats what most people use.

thats an evo 9 turbo, 16G6, and at 30psi its is NOT efficient. if you think 65% is efficient your retarded. your also assuming its going to flow 580cfm (irrelevant) at a 2.0 PR. thats also retarded.

so what was your point again?

anyone who dd's a ford probe, talks about lovefab manifolds, and has curly afro hair doesn't deserve a turbo honda.

So you guys think that when these guys are pushing 850whp out of a GT42r at high pressure ratios, their compressor efficiency is 78%? I'll tell you in advanced, it's not. Hello, mid to low 60's! I used to think pressure efficiency was key. I was dead wrong. Flow is way more important. Intercoolers take care of compressor efficiency or lack there of. If the pressure and flow number land on the compressor map and aren't near the surge limit on either side, it's plenty efficient enough to go fast. Everything else is just nonsense. If you went by compressor maps, GT35r's are perfectly efficient on b18c1 engines at 10psi. But when you go out into the real world, they have lazy throttle response and spool 1000rpm too late. Magically when you throw a GT30r, the damn car makes more power just about everywhere, runs better times, and responds like a healthy car should meanwhile compressor efficiency is not as preferred as the GT35r. Flow is king.

useable power is the name of the game.

the 1k powerband supra style roll racer not the best for stop light to stop light or drag strip

You don't even know what you're talking about. The damned thing was turbo at one point, pulled out then built, then turbo ---- was sold, NA ---- was put on, and he sold it since he got the skyline. This was jesse's old car.

you have no proof to back your ---- up for the 3rd post in a row, ------- post something provable.
