Haha, I'll go out and take pics where the jackstands went through the floor of the car and all the rust. This car was shot.

I have no idea what d0nfry was talking about re: Whitey, this is my buddy's car, that was my thread.

In conclusion, 14 inch chop saw > sawzall > CRX.
What he means is he now deserves the noise complaint letter because parting a car to recycle makes alot of noise. Or for the rest of you, DEE de DEEE D DEeEE.

lol didnt look like the car had much life left to me. MAJOR restoration. and some people would rather spend time on fabbing up a turbo kit then just trying to get there car from crap to being able to roll down a street. I understood what you meant. looked like you had fun

I've got a crx sittin in my garage that i think i'm gonna have to do the same thing to :P Rust holes in it the size of pizzas and then some. I did drive it home though, but when i stomped my foot down in front of the brake pedal it went right through the floor

Are the rear quarters any good? mine are pretty much missing on my other car (90 crx beater) If you wouldnt mind, Id take the whole rear quarters cut from it, both sides. They definately look better than what ive got. PM me.

Like what? Car had holes in the floor from jackstands going through it, more rust than I can shake a stick at and a wiring mess that caused an electrical fire not too long ago. Anything good on the car has been taken off, trust me. The only major things left are the steering/clutch assembly, fuse box and heater core/fans, which I can't be bothered to take off.

Honda's are not at the point where they are worth it to majorly restore from a finanical standpoint, it's just easier to find a rust free shell to begin with, so yeah, I'd rather do that, find some parts cars with goodies on them and swap it all over when the time came. I had a blast, cutoff saws are my new best friend.
