so i start my car and HOLY ----!!
well, after doing a ghetto cold air intake ( has to be done ) i attemt to start my car. no dice. hm... i do the unflooding procedure and get it to start up. but it runs like ----. just then my friend comes and helps me. he sits in the car and runs it at like 3k rpms for like 5 minutes, and what do my little eyes see? my whole exhaust is glowing red and shootung fire ( not the little pop fires some of yall get when running rich, im talking like flame thrower constanrt shooting flams type ----) o well, i guess gutting my cvats its on the list of ---- to do today.

rotaries produce tremendouce amounts of heat. if you put a civic catelytic convertyer on there ( even an aftermarket one ) driving around for five minutes, and you have a hollowed out cat. i mean tremendous amounts of heat.

also, i think that i might have blown an apex seal. ill do a compression check. mainly it will sent unburnt fuel into the exhaust and it will burn up in there. also, it might have something to do with my catelytic converter. if one of them is blocked, the whole shpeal gets blocked and hence forthe i get flames shooting.

well i fixed it. rotaries are known for flooding even though its fuel injected. o well. it just had a shitload of gasoline being ejected and getting stuck into the cats. so this morning i said ---- it, cranked her up, floored it while in neutral 1t like 7500 rpms for like 5 minutes and it started getting smoother and smoother. than the exhaust started to quiet down and started to pop less and less. then it would idle and run fine.
. i love rotaries. i also made my own hmt style cold air intake wich actually made a uge difference. i could touch the stainless cone fiulter befor i did it because it simply sucked up hot engine bay air. so i drilled some big *** holes ( and after allot of cursing and allot of ripped off skin on my fingers ) i finally got it. i then used some dryer ducting and duck tapped it to the filter. now after a spirited drive i can hold my hand on the whole filter and it will be noticble cooler, but still not cool enough. but like 50 degreese cooler i must say.
