SO i donated blood today
Im O Positive so i try to donate when i can and i find it odd how the needle freaks me out. I can like eat pizza and watch someone get hacked all up with no problems, i have tattoos and piercings but ***** my finger and i have to close my eyes like a little girl cause i dont want to see it coming.
Just wondering who else is a total ----- for no reason when it comes to needles.

I fail. I usually at least get sick at the sight of blood, but ive only passed out once, when I wrecked my dirtbike on the street (dumb) but I think that was more due to blood loss than the sight of it. Bleh.

I can not donate blood because I lived in Europe in the '80's for more than 6 months because I may have contract mad cow.
I swear that is what they told me when I tried to donate plasma.
Which is fine I also hate needles.

You're also fucked because it's harder to find a donor if YOU need blood
Anyways I give blood too, been a while though. In high school my friend and I had a couple races to see who could fill up the bag first by having the nurses start us as the same time. I always lost. If you smoke weed you get a little extra high after giving blood too. Same would probably go for drinking, but I wouldn't get wasted right after donating.
