Very soon eBay is gonna be strictly paypal and nothing else. My wife is a power seller and is always complaining about ebay and all the new ---- their changing and how shitty it's gonna be. Like there won't even be anyway to pay with a money order or anthing. Not to mention big retail store are now gonna be able to start listing on ebay like Macy's and ---- like that and flood ebay with loads of listing and ebay is moving in that direction away from the smaller people.

just for reference, paypal offers 0 buyer protection. I got fucked over by 2 sellers that have good feedback and paypal would do nothing for me. I even called paypal and talked to a csr about both cases.
one was a set of wheels, $400 +$130 shipping, chrome flaked off 3 days later (already installed, and already threw away the old wheels). They even had a 6 month warranty. Seller denied my warranty, manufacturer said the seller was the only one who could take care of me. Paypal gave me 10 days to remove the wheels and ship them back. Would have cost me $80 to get them dismounted, and $130 to ship, and paypal could only refund the $400 not the initial shipping. So I would be out $340 on a $400 set of wheels, ya ------- right.
The other was a pair of stands for my motorcycle, they showed up used, not new, and missing all the adapters to actually lift the bike with. It was like $80 +$50 shipping and paypal would only refund the $80, leaving me out $100 on an $80 pair of stands. Again WTF
So basically I am done with ebay and paypal except as a seller. Now I sell car stereos on ebay and ship bricks. I charge $30 shipping, but it costs me $10. So even when people send the ---- back I still make $20 on every transaction.

I don't know about you, but when I sold stuff on eBay and they paid through PayPal they refunded the person the entire amount including the shipping charged. I bought a CD player about two weeks ago. Guy didn't send one email or anything to me. I messaged him several times, nothing. I said screw this and filed a dispute. Waited a day nothing. Escalated to a claim. He goes the next day and ships it and provides PayPal with the tracking number (which had the date on it so I know he shipped it after I filed the claim). ---- that, I already bought another head unit. When that bitch get's here I'll be filing it as not as described.
