same here, plus my other car and the new engine and a ton of other parts, so i think im just above 5 grand. It will drop when the celicas mint and i can sell the VW though.

I bought and turbo'd my CRX for about $1000.

so far id say im under the 3000 mark.
for my d series i made a kit that was about 1000
traded $1000 kit for a b18c1(and ls rims that i traded for fat fives)
biult a b series turbo kit which cost about $700
got full suspention(bushings spring shocks bars) $500
gay tails and angel eyes with eye brows bout $200
rsr gt2 straight cat back slightly used for $175
s1 cable trans and 85 crx $400
thats about it and the total is $2975
but no more hatch so this is all point less

I wouldn't call it an investment, more like how much have I spent. Close to 10g's. Swap, body work, rims, audio and I'm not done...then agian will I ever be?

2600 for the first swap
about 2400 for the turbo setup
2300 for the new motor
and im sure ive spent well over 1000 in the past year and a half that ive owned the car on random ----.

$1400 for the car which came with suspension and work wheels (SiRII hatch)
$120 for a bride brix seat w/sabelt belt
8,000yen for a ITR intake mani/throttle body/intake air box, ITR sway bars, exhaust,
14,000yen brakes

sold the muffler for $125

so total I have right at about $1600. thats what you people in the states pay for a B16 swap. :P
