Smiley TIG/Mitec mayhem... anyone still using these?

Re: Smiley TIG/Mitec mayhem... anyone still using these?
I still have mine and use it to cut things mostly. I actually just built a ladder rack in SS for a guy at his house and brought the Smiley because its smaller than my Thermal Arc and it has a finger control. Mine still works great and I have probably used mine more than anyone I have ever talked to. With that said, LSD Mike's ---- the bed after only a few uses. Having a really good ground is key with that thing.
P.S. I built a complete header back, dual, stainless exhaust for a built SSR with the smiley and it performed well.

My personal one got plugged into an outlet where ground and common weren't tied together and now it won't arc over. HF spark still works, but no juice. I think I know what is needed to fix it.
I just picked up 96turboracer's for $50, I dunno if there was some defect in the control circuitry or if the duty cycle was exceeded, but some of the copper power transmission bars/fusible links are melted through. I'm off to buy a burly soldering iron so I can heat the joints enough to use a regular desoldering bulb, and some braid. I think I can fix his no problemo.
