what i have decided is that a level sensor is just a lil more complicated. what i will do is just so simple it hurts. the 3gallon tank usually has two fittings on top and two on the bottom for returns and feeds and so on and so forth. so what i will do is just run a clear hose from the top to the bottom to give me an indication at what level the fuel is at.

now i just have to make sure that the haltech is fireing them off by themselves rather than just mixing the 550's with the 1600's.
Use a bevel and gauge from a seadoo. It would be perfect for that and it's just 1 12v source and a ground.

well good luck your fuel swapping idea. however i wouldn't do it.

if your running a 2nd gen rx7 there are 2 types of fuel rails in those years between 86'-90.

the series 4 rx7 between 86-88 has had the infamously known problem of a Pulsation Damper. honestly the biggest ---- up Mazda ever made. (and i know i had rx7 catch in flames)

anyways I believe the fuel start off at the primary fuel rails and ends and the Secondary Fuel rail. (don't quote me i don't have my diagrams in front of me) it has 1 damper and 1 regulator. the Series 5 89-90 has a solid pulsation damper so it wouldn't leak and 1 regulator. i also believe they reverse the flow of the fuel. starts off at the secondary rail and ends at the primary rail.

anyways your going to have to a lot of problems how redesign the new fuel rails. they are going to have to be different as you cannot use the existing rails. plus your going to need 2x fuel regulators and 2x dampers so you don't have fuel shock in the fuel rails. of either of them.

on top of it, you going to tune out the transition of 550 cc primary injectors to 1600cc injectors with different fuel curves of your 1600cc.

what gets me is this. if your 1600cc only come on during boost. you'll only be running on 2 injectors not in boost, now that your 2x 550cc injectors maxed will only support 150 hp max. granted i doubt your motor would ever hit over 150hp on a light throttle not in boost.

then your going to have to install the safety feature of where to put the fuel tank. (and if you say back in the hatch you a moron.)

but aside the custom fuel rails, the extra money it takes to for the additional Dampers and regualtors, and the added expense of retuning your car.

i am sure it'll pay off.

o really? i guess i better undo my $500+ dollar custom fuel setup then.

a lot of after market regulators have FPD

your an idiot. i don't need custom fuel rails, i don't need anything. my whole damn engine, fuel management, and fuel delivery is custom you ---- stick.

Sounds like a solid way to save $3.72 a year. :1 That could add up to about $223 in a lifetime! Minus the cost of the setup you will be lucky to break even after 60 years.

Jesus just stop right now.Why do people insist on doing super custom waste of time setups.I know it hurts to hear but you are the same as every other guy to build a second gen RX7 just run 93 in the tank and some meth injection if needed and be done with it.Everybody wants to reinvent the ------- wheel when there is no reason to.Just cut and paste someone elses build and enjoy having a fast car. This plan is full of aids

let me get this right... you call me an idiot twice, because you didn't mention you already had spent a ridiculous amount of money on your "custom fuel system" $500 custom fuel setup half of that already went into the on just 2x 1600cc injectors. if you are running 550cc +1600 cc injectors.

but Regardless your still a moron. WHY would you want to have this setup only to run 91? Come up get out of your closet and spend the money on 100+ octane fuel. i mean that's the reason why you want to do this right? better fuel for boost on the fly. why not run 100+ octane

this thread is pointless if a guy ask a question only to rebuttal with ---- like "yo momma and your an idiot". what's the point of making a thread asking a question only to be a moron. wait wait. unless that person is a noob asking stupid question he should already found alternatives for.

but i find Kain always has constructive arguments. with ---- like, "Idiot, Yo Mamma, ----, My rx7 can kick your cars ***, I'm an idiot, Blah blah blah blah, I don't need piston in my life." but enough about constructive people

Let me save you some money and a little bit of wasting your life (not that your life is important). instead of trying to get a 87/91 setup going.

GET alcohol/water injection does the same thing your looking into getting. not only that it's been known to increase your octane value seeing how water is not flammable.

you don't even have to use alcohol. WATER alone help by alot. AND IT's FREE you cheapo mother ******.

now go ---- a goat.
