Get the new bushing set, and tighten them in really tight, and I think that's all you can do.

where is is sloppy?
could be the shifter to the shift linkage.
shift linkage to the tranny.
or shift linkage to the body.
if you do like steve said, that will fix the body/tranny points.

do you have a good spring pin (bitch pin) in the linkage where it meets the tranny?

ive though like all honda trannys feel sloppy when shifting compaired to most other cars. my hatch feels weird when i shift it but my celica feels like it locks in to gear. and every civic ive driven has felt like that. i think thats just how it is. not much you can do to fix it

Its not the shifting, its the shifter itself it just flops around

i had a bolt in the linkage instead of a spring pin. The slack causes that problem. Also check where the shifter bolts to the linkage, if thats not tight it will flop back and forth.
