this weekend i drop my car, i went with skunk 2 coilovers the ride is nice and stiff but very bouncy when you hit a pot hole or bump, i think that they are good for free any way, anyone else have skunk 2s ?

Same thing happen to me, when I had the 97 civic, but I used the cheaper dropzone coilovers, bouncy as hell, when I got KYB AGX's it got a lot better, but the ride will always be stiff, hard, unless you spend thousands on your suspension. But for free, you should be fine with some new shocks

how can you tell ? it the ride supposed to be very stiff or bouncy ?

same here first time i lowered a car, i was like "wft, this sucks", but now i've got agx's and it's a million times better.

It should be stiff or hard, yeah I said stiff and hard, but not bouncy, like going down the road, on a pretty flat road, but bouncing around. But you need new shocks with a lowered suspension, that's just the way it is, the factory ones, get blown really quick after lowered, mine only lasted like a week. With KYB AGX you can adjust them, it will still be stiff, like going over a speedbump, but should not be bouncing all the time.

kyb agx's?? no, you have to order them, they're about 90 bucks each. they also have kyb gr2's which are about 50 bucks each (i believe) and people say they're pretty good, but definitely not as good as the agx's. what car do you have? check out ebay for some shocks, they usually have some good kyb's or tokico's on there.
