Default Silent Dan (perfek) closer to install day - 6pics

Well, I built him a manifold...

Next weekend or somethin ill get him down here and help him get a downpipe fabbed up. Maybe I'll just tack it all up and let someone tig it at the install.

all done, total ive got about 2 hours into this, in 15 minute increments.

Things i will say first. First of all I did this for free. Reason being that I have very little time on welding experience. Mostly wanted to do this so that I had something to put in some weld time. If I had it to do again I could probably make it 100000x better. In the beginning the welds weren't pretty but effective, thats why they're ground off of the runners. I'll probably coat this black with VHT to finish it off.

Next one I do will look sharp.

Post welding the flanges were all re-surfaced, so they are clean and straight.

**** Josh and I have a 1/2 piece of plate steel we bolt our manifolds down to so the flanges dont work. That way it work have to be resurfaced. Just make sure its cool before removal.

yeah id like to get something like that set up too, however at work doing 15 min projects here and there is just easier to toss em on the jet for a couple seconds.

i dont think it will, i had my bro-in-law (welds all day every day) inspect it and tell me if he saw any questionable spots.
