Default Si vs. TSi

ok,

this go that lives by me wants to race me.....its for 20 bucks(not to much but still) and we will be racing at the track. i have a 89' Si slightly gutted... B16 with intake, header, high flow cat, and 2 1\4 piping. and he has a stock awd turbo talon running like 10 lbs of boost or something. what do you guys think my chances are? i am a farely good driver( i like to think so at least). thanks!

Dane
ps. the point of this post is just to save me 20 dollars or gain me 20 dollars so i can buy lunch everyday this week

If you guys race a full 1/4 mile, and that is all he has done, you might be able to catch him.. It also depends on how nice he is to his car.. Some guys just launch like a madman in dsms, and drop the clutch at 6 grand if he does that... you might not have a chance..

i say hes got ya. its all about the start.
its like racing 2 cars with similar hp, and one with slicks.
and i doubt its 10psi, but if that is what he's running then hes probably got more hp than you too.

"Ya I think stock DSM's run 14-15 Bar boost"
