just wanted to add this, i posted it a week or so ago, hes a local guy from my town...rice or not it ran 10.93@133, before this paint job the car was jdm city, 5lug conversion itr wheels, etc etc etc, guy said he just wanted a change

I say it's all up to the owner... If thats what you want to go for is an all out showcar then do it. H.R. Giger's artwork is amazing and to completely redo a car and have it resemble the same type of scheeme could be pretty wild. I'd be interested in seeing it when it's finished.

if your car is a "show car" and you know its not fast then
thats diffrent. it is still rice, but i guess "acceptable"
Rice is when people put wings, neons and body kits and
acutally belive that they gain some performace.
if the say/belive that their car is faster/performs better
from their blitz front bumper, invader back bumper, blAck
widow side skirts, the super duper triple decker mega ultra
gt wing and 6 exuast pans....THATS RICE
p.s. rice boys seem to get all the girls. must be the neons

Rice is an attitude. Revving your engine at people, talking ---- on other people cars... it just happens to be that most kids who have the Rice attitude also drive a body kitted, neoned up car.

IMO modifications that do not add to the car's performance=rice. BUT... you can't really call a one-off "aliens style" interior/exterior rice, can you? More like, "art"?
i was looking at the artistic side of showcars
ill get some composite sketches togeather and show you
prolly tomorrow...
or in a couple hours if im bored
