Well, everyone i talked to said that 600cc got boring fast, as a learning bike, yes you probably shouldnt hop on a R1 or gixxer1000, but why not a 750 or something?

Yes sometimes the 600cc's get boring quick but thats what gets you into trouble. You think you can handle more speed than your actually capable of.

750's are a great mid size bike but still almost too large for a beginner. I wish yamaha made a production 750 , they make an R7 but its extremly rare and expensive. Regardless a gsxr 750 is capable of almost 170, even the new 600's can do 156 or so.....

The other issue is spending that much money for something you are going to want to upgrade from. If you look at it though, an R1 and the gsxr 1000 are like the ferrari's of bikes. You certainly cant go buy a ferrari for 11 grand now can you? Its really not that unreasonable.

I still want another bike but i wont get one because i know what will happen, I'll end up killing myself and hurting my family/friends.

I can't beat a V8...yet.

You have alot of learning to do. Anybody who rides a bike and isn't scared every time he gets on one has no respect for what he is doing. My dad rode harleys way back when and he was what he said a good rider. He had three wrecks. The first one didn't do to much to him neither did the second. But the third about killed him. It ground all 7 layers out fo his helmet, shattered his arm and broke his knee. Don't ever call me a -----!

It was a joke you should lighten up a little buddy. I've done all the learning i need to do im currently in physical therapy right now for a shattered wrist along with other injuries i received in a motorcycle accident on november 4th The bike was laid down and only has scratches and broken turn signal and also i saw my best friend go down in front of me this summer. I was a little scared every time i rode not because of my riding but because of the other people on the road.

oh yeah...-----
