You can buy kits that do that, but why would you want to? I think it is something that happnes, but I don't think it should. Too much gas and poor timing??

I heard of a guy that made a pretty good kit for a good price....I forget who it was.....I think it would be a waste though. If I seen someone shooting flames out of there exhaust I would think there car was a pile of ----.

Haha, hey you ever see what happens to a pile of ---- when you shoot flames at it Yeah, I think HKS (not sure) sells a kit that burns the fuel in the exhaust causing flames out the exhaust instead of fuel cut at the rev limit. It's not here in the U.S. yet but it will be.

They had a segment about shooting flames out your exhaust on I think it was Horsepower TV. You just drill a whole in your exhaust at the end and stick a sark plug in there. Then hook up a cheap coil to it and when you step on the gas you shoot flames.

it was on hp tv, you're kinda right. the real way of doing (like they did on the show) you install some deal to control the spark to each cyclinder and you rev the engine hit the button, and on the way down one of two or whatever of the cyclinders don't fire, shooting gas down the exhaust and the spark plug plummbed into the exhaust ignites it.

it doesn't work well on 4bangers since cutting off only one cyclinder isn't good for it and running on 2 with a engine that is already weak doesn't work well either. i've never ran a i4 on two cyclinder but i would assume it would rev very well with only 2 firing.
