Alright, here's the deal. I thought it would be fun to put in an EXTREMELY high-end (built) tranny for a week or so. My friend helps me with all of my work, and we changed out the tranny. I get it in, and it rides fine ...... But then ........ something TERRIBLE happens ..... Late one night some douch bag in a camaro lines up beside me and says, "Nice grocery car, I think I'll beat you to that other stop light." I said, "Sure!" I drop my clutch at 4 grand, and my tach drowns down to 500 RPM, THEN starts movin'!! I was like, "Stiggy da be what?!" So, when I stopped again, I tried to launch. *Rev, drop, bog down* (In that order). I am REALLY ------- pissed off. I go home, and the next day, I put my old tranny back on, still the same problem..... Does ANYONE have an idea of what it could be? I seriously don't have a clue. Thanks.

No, no wheel hop. The ------- car won't even bark! I am using a standard CRX Si tranny now. And the clutch, well ..... who knows. OEM maybe? I believe that's the problem. I don't have the means to read my vaccum, how could that cause a problem. I suppose I could get a gauge for it. Thanks for the help.
